Camp end and upcoming things

Good afternoon everyone!

As we near the end of a very successful band camp, I wanted to reach out about a couple of things that are coming up.

1. We will have a band parent meeting August 5 at 6:30p in the band room. If you are busy registering your student, please stop by after you have finished that! We have lots of needs and a need for the help of our parents where we can get it. This will be a great chance for you to meet the directors (if you haven't already) and our band booster officers, and learn how you can help our kids.

2. If your child needs band shoes for the uniform, those are $40. Students should have already been sized for those. If you need shoes and have not been fitted, see me ASAP.

3. Our first performance of the season is next Saturday morning, August 9, at Jemison High School, as part of Panther Day. Please keep an eye out for more details. I will send those out early next week.

4. Thank you to those of you that have already begun to send in band fees. It is greatly appreciated, and those fees help make sure our students have the things they need and can get back and forth to our performances. The fee schedule is in the files section. If you have a question about fees, please reach out to me and ask.I will do what I can to work with you!

Please make sure to check the Google Calendar on our new website, which is pinned to the top of this page. I'm excited for everyone to see the hard work of our kids, and games will be here before we know it! We'll finish band camp strong tomorrow!
